3 More TV Spots for Roland Emmerich’s epic conspiracy theory period drama Anonymous have appeared online. Anonymous asks the controversial question did William Shakespeare actually write all his famous works or was it 17th Earl of Oxford, Edward de Vere? It’s a slight change of direction for the German filmmaker who loves to destroy our little blue planet in his epic cgi disaster films such as Day After Tomorrow, 2012 or alien invaders in Independence Day.For Anonymous there is still that streak of destruction, the destruction of the reputation of England’s greatest bard but will this film actually leave you debating the possibility Shakespeare was a fake or is he just winding the viewer up simply to be entertained? Hopefully both however Emmerich has been involved in a few debates and we’ve have had no fallback which could leave us asking did Emmerich only believe the film as in entertainment only or did he believe there was some truth in the controversy?

Anonymous is due to be released in UK&Ireland on October 28th however tomorrow the London Film Festival is due to kick off and the film will make its UK premier at the festival.
