Cameron Waaler, Arrow Acquisition Manager commented: “The Last Video Store is a magnificent throwback to the 80’s horror films that we at Arrow all love and ire so it was a no brainer to acquire it. We are delighted to be able to work with both Cody and Tim to present this wonderful film to the UK and the US.”

Directors Cody Kennedy and Tim Rutherford also commented: “Arrow Video is a staple of contemporary video stores and collector’s shelves. Our love letter to those places couldn’t have a better home.”

Here’s a clip from the film…

In this love letter to the era of the video store, we follow Nyla who accidentally uncovers a ‘cursed’ VHS tape. A film holds the power to connect the real world to a dimension where movie fantasy exists as reality. Nyla and the video store owner unwittingly awaken a long-dormant curse that unleashes a series of classic cinematic villains plucked from the bowels of the B-movies themselves. The films stars Yaayaa Adams (Next Stop), Kevin Martin (Straight to Video: The B-Movie Odyssey) and Matthew Kennedy (Father’s Day).

The Last Video Store is now available on ARROW and Limited Edition Blu-Ray.
