Now Universal Pictures has released the first UK Trailer and what a brutal bloodbath of a film we have on our hands. If your looking for The Purge this might quench your first, you might just drown in blood, as it has plenty.

The film promises to tackle the dark side of social media and all the private details of the townsfolk ending up online. This forces the town to fight for their lives. The hacking side is so timely, so is the abuse, bullying and many pitfalls of today’s technologies.

High school senior Lily and her group of friends live in a haze of texts, posts, selfies and chats just like the rest of the world. So, when an anonymous hacker starts posting details from the private lives of everyone in their small town, the result is absolute madness leaving Lily and her friends questioning whether they’ll live through the night.
