Last night on the other side of the world The World première of The Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey took place in Wellington New Zealand.Today as the countdown continues to the December 13th release date, we have the first official clip and Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) comes into the possession of a infamous sword we see a lot of in Lord of The Rings trilogy.

The clip is short and sweet when Gandalf gives him Sting a sword that Bilbo would hand over to his nephew in later years the sword that lights up when orcs and goblins are in the vicinity. If we to go by what we enjoyed from Lord Of The Rings we should see Master Baggins also get a kingly gift of the methrail vest which saved his nephew in many of occasions!
