The ‘Bots Are Unleashed In Transformers: The Last Knight Trailer 2

Transformers The Last Knight

You can say all you want about The Transformers movies or the Baymeister, but one thing this franchise does epically well is deliver a good trailer. In the second UK Trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight Optimus Prime’s motivations for going ‘rogue’ become a little clearer and why he wanted to kill Bumblebee. The ‘Bots are unleashed!

If you were to describe this trailer in two words, if you said “totally bonkers” you wouldn’t be far from that description. That notion is backed up with the fact King Arthur’s Knights of The Round Table were all Autobots! Redefining Earth’s history continues the totally OTT Premise the ‘new’ movies have been taking, but what’s with the Nazi’s?

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. The key to saving our future lies buried in the secrets of the past, in the hidden history of Transformers on Earth. Saving our world falls upon the shoulders of an unlikely alliance: Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg); Bumblebee; an English Lord (Sir Anthony Hopkins); and an Oxford Professor (Laura Haddock).

There comes a moment in everyone’s life when we are called upon to make a difference. In Transformers: The Last Knight, the hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive theirs, or ours.

So heroes become villains Optimus Prime has done Dominic Torretto, is there a reason for this? The long winding war between the Autobots and Decepticons it’s mucky paws involved but can Prime really become a villain? With everyone turning sides, for those stuck in the middle, us humans only one thing we can do is survive.

Transformers: The Last Knight is set for a 23rd June UK, Irish Cinema release. Starring Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Stanley Tucci, Anthony Hopkins, Jerrod Carmichael, John Goodman, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, Gil Birmingham, and Jean Dujardin.
