Brittany Runs A Marathon Gets A UK Release Date, Watch Trailer

We do love crowd pleasers and at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, Brittany Runs A Marathon was one of those. That much it won the audience award at the festival too, now it’s getting an UK release.

Award-winning playwright Paul Downs Colaizzo makes his directorial debut been quoted as an “uproarious, irreverent and surprisingly emotional comedy inspired by real events“. The cast, led by Jillian Bell, lends heart and soul to this inspirational story of a party girl who finally finds real friends and dignity by taking control of her future, one city block at a time.

An overweight person trying to get their life on the right track might be ‘belly laughs’ to some. It’s also one with an inspirational message with heart as well as laughs. Could be the films to propel Bell into more lead roles.
