Bumblebee Out Today, Watch New Clips

Bumblebee in BUMBLEBEE, from Paramount Pictures.
Today in the UK and Ireland, Bumblebee has opened in cinemas nationwide and Paramount has released a couple of new Clips.
To any who hates Michael Bay’s Transformers, this film is a different kettle of fish. This film is a spin-off but its also a prequel too. One minus of the adolescent laddy male tone Bay is infamous for. The film feels like a film set in its year, 1987. Big on Steven Spielberg family type adventure he became famous for in the decade. Reminded me at times of BMX Bandits.
In the first clip, Charlie’s (Hailee Steinfeld) next door neighbour Memo Jorge Lendeborg Jr is in love with her. Instead of asking her out, he meets Bumblebee. In the second clip is like the start of a previous clip ‘Robot Junk’ (watch it via the link below clips), which Charlie has to chase Bee who has been driven off by her mum!

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
Bumblebee is out now in the UK and Ireland (24th December). In the USA it’s 21st December.
The film also stars John Cena, Pamela Adlon, Kenneth Choi, Megan Pryce Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker, Stephen Schneider, and Martin Short. Angela Bassett and Justin Theroux are also onboard as the voices of the Decepticons chasing our titular Autobot.
