Charlie Cox Faces His Past In Netflix Treason Trailer

It’s been a while since Charlie Cox was on Netflix. The streaming giants have released the official trailer for his return, Treason. Which sees the British actor exchange Hell’s Kitchen for London, however his past comes back to haunt him.
The espionage limited series is set to launch on the channel later this month. The 5 episode series is created and written by Matt Charman who also wrote Bridge Of Spies.
We step into the world of lies and deceit, Cox is Adam Lawrence whose career seems to be already set out by Mi6. An attempt was made on the former leader which sees Adam’s past catch up on him. In the form of a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past. Forcing him to question everything and everyone in his life. Secrets, lies and diplomatic relationships will all come to light.
Trained and groomed by MI6, Adam Lawrence’s career seems set. But when the past catches up with him in the form of Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life. A triangular relationship forms between Kara, Adam and his wife, Maddy; three people who are trying to expose each other’s secrets, navigate political and diplomatic relationships, whilst hanging onto their personal lives, and those they love most.
The main cast for this series will include Oona Chaplin, Olga Kurylenko, Ciaran Hinds, Tracy Ifeachor, and Brian Law. Treason will launch on Netflix on 26th December aka boxing day.
