Courteney Cox has proven there is life after Friends and Scream with this popular series . Can her character Pat return to normality after a spell in a psychiatric ward? The trailer teases Pat attempting to fit back into that life, however her kids not really wanting to interact with their mum. Even more shocking is her husband Terry (Greg Kinnear) doesn’t even her! Pat restarts her writing career could that re-ignite her breakdown? Maybe the return of Rosemary (Mira Sorvino) will.

Season two kicks off four months later, when Pat’s insurance runs out and she is released from the psychiatric hospital early. Pat returns home, determined to pick up the pieces of her broken family, but she quickly finds out her children don’t need her, Terry doesn’t her and to make matters worse, Pat’s new neighbor Ruth looks exactly like Rosemary. Meanwhile, the house starts to reveal the shocking secrets of its dark past. Every mother feels like they live in an insane asylum, but Pat may be right!

The rest of the cast includes Gus Birney (Dickinson), Merrin Dungey (Big Little Lies, The Resident), and Dylan Gage (PEN15), and features Judith Light (“Poker Face”), Allison Tolman (Gaslit, Why Women Kill) and Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks).

Shining Vale Season Two will premiere on Friday 13th October on Lionsgate+ in the UK and Ireland.
