Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale Trailer ‘Time To Say Goodbye’
This September it will be time to say goodbye when Universal Pictures release Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale arrives in Autumn. Today that emotional farewell begins with the official teaser trailer.
Fans of the show will be very familiar with the cast. The one thing that will bring a tear to those fans eyes is Dame Maggie Smith, who as we know sadly died. She was a staple part of the shows cast as Violet Crawley, the trailer does tease a little homage to the actress.
The rest of the cast in the third Downton Abbey film also include a mix of regulars, returnees and new. Simon Russell Beale,Paul Giamatti, Harry Hadden-Paton, Robert James-Collier, Allen Leech, Phyllis Logan, Elizabeth McGovern, Sophie McShera, Lesley Nicol, Alessandro Nivola, Dominic West, Penelope Wilton, Arty Froushan, Joely Richardson, Paul Copley, and Douglas Reith.
The new film takes us into 1930’s England and the future of the Abbey might not be with the family we grew to love.
DOWNTON ABBEY: THE GRAND FINALE, the cinematic return of the global phenomenon, follows the Crawley family and their staff as they enter the 1930s. As the beloved cast of characters navigates how to lead Downton Abbey into the future, they must embrace change and welcome a new chapter.
Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale will be in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 12th September.
