Elizabeth Olsen, Kristen Stewart & Oscar Isaac To Star In ’80s Vampire Thriller

Elizabeth Olsen to Oscar Isaac and Kristen Stewart in new film

Elizabeth Olsen has ed Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac to co-star in ’80s vampire thriller Flesh Of The Gods

Helmed by Mandy director Panos Cosmatos, Stewart and Isaac will play Alex and Raoul, a married couple in L.A. in the 1980’s, who leave behind their skyscraper studio condo every night and head into the nighttime realm.

When they cross paths with the mysterious and enigmatic Nameless (Olsen) and her hard-partying cabal, Raoul and Alex are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence, according to Deadline.

Written by Se7en‘s Andrew Kevin Walker, it is based on a story by Cosmatos and Walker, and is produced by Adam McKay and Betsy Koch of Hyperobject Industries, and Gena Konstantinakos and Isaac for Mad Gene Media.

For Stewart, this will be her first time returning to the vampire genre after her starring role as Bella in the Twilight franchise.

Isaac is best known for his roles in Ex Machina, Dune, and Marvel’s TV show Moon Knight.

Olsen is also no stranger to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as she is known for playing Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, first appearing in Avengers: Age of Ultron and last in Doctor Strange: The Multiverse of Madness. She has also starred in Wind River, Ingrid Goes West, and Godzilla.

Domestic rights are co-repped by CAA Media Finance and WME Independent, with XYZ Films continuing international sales at this week’s Cannes market.

There is currently no set date for the start of the shoot as schedules are being aligned.

Flesh of the Gods will be the fourth collaboration between Cosmatos and XYZ, as they produced the Miley Cyrus film Something Beautiful, which will debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in June. They also have Nekrokosm in development with A24.

titles from XYZ Films include Banquet, starring Meghann Fahy and directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia; the SXSW thriller Hallow Road, directed by Babak Anvari and starring Rosamund Pike and Matthew Rhys; and The Trip, starring Jason Segel, Samara Weaving, Juliette Lewis and Timothy Olyphant, which is currently in post-production.
