THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL Cast Out in Force For World Premiere

Tonight see’s the World premiere of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, directed by John Madden, starring a host of well-known British names. The premiere takes place at the Curzon Mayfair, Central London tonight and will feature appearances on the red carpet from Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Penelope Wilton, Ronald Pickup, Tom Wilkinson , Dev Patel and novelist Deborah Moggach. Fans are welcome too. The stars will be arriving on the red carpet from 6pm.

For a disparate group of English pensioners (Judi Dench, Bill Nighy, Maggie Smith, Tom Wilkinson, Penelope Wilton, Celia Imrie and Ronald Pickup), retirement takes an unconventional turn when they abandon their homeland, enticed by ments for THE BEST EXOTIC MARIGOLD HOTEL, a seemingly luxurious sanctuary for “the elderly and beautiful” in Jaipur, India. On arrival, they discover that the hotel falls somewhat short of the romantic idyll promised in the brochure, but they are gradually won over by the ever-optimistic young manager Sonny (Dev Patel), and tentatively embark on a new adventure, finding that life can begin again when you let go of the past

The all star British cast film set in India Universal Pictures will be hoping for the same success as did Slumdog Millionaire , whatever happens when you have some of Britain’s best mature actors all together under one roof you can bet your bottom dollar you will be treated to a entertaining charming funny film. The Best Exotic Marigold will arrive in British & Irish cinemas February 24th however on Friday 17th February at Glasgow Film Festival the film have a special preview [you can find more details here], wherever you catch the film its a flick that will heat up your cockles in those frosty cold days!
