The tone, the feel, the look even the sounds all look like they are from the 1990’s. It all starts in Shadyside, 1994, a group of teenagers discover the terrifying events that have haunted their town for generations which may all be connected. Will they be the next targets?
Despite R.L Stines books aiming at the older teens, the author has mentioned the films aiming a more mature audience. There certainly feels a Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark going on with a slasher killer running havoc in Shadyside. Are they possessed by the witch we keep hearing about?
