Fast&Furious 7 Production Cancelled, Video Tribute To Paul Walker

Put aside any reservations of how good or bad a Paul Walker was as a actor, the news of his tragic death shocked us all especially when you see he was only 40 years old with a daughter. So it’s of no great surprise Universal Pictures have announce the production of Fast&Furious 7 has now went into hiatus indefinitely.
Will they go back at a future date and finish the sequel? We don’t but as Paul Walker played one of the franchises main characters alongside Vin Diesel it might be extremely difficult probably distraught for the rest of the cast& crew to continue but anyone thinking Fast&Furious 7 will be released next July can probably forget about seeing the movie.
Here’s what Universal Pictures said in a statement….
“Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing to Paul’s immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers,” reads the missive. “At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise. We are committed to keeping Fast & Furious fans informed, and we will provide further information to them when we have it. Until then, we know they us in mourning the ing of our dear friend Paul Walker.”
In times of austerity scrapping what has been done will be a costly move when it’s said the figure to be around $200 million if anything this would be a last resort move. Fans of Paul Walker would probably want to see their favourite actors scenes be played letting his name go with dignity and respect rather than just disappear. In some positive news as sales of the current Fast&Furious 6 still selling well Universal Pictures have said they will donate 50% of the sales to Paul’s personal charity Reach Out.
Whatever you think of Paul Walker he was regarded as one of the nice guys of Hollywood, outside of Fast&Furious his films may not be top10 blockbusters, he was still relatively young. As Running Scared director Wayne Kramer said “And he was just coming into his own as a strong leading man. I always told Paul that his most exciting years were going to be his 40s and 50s, and even beyond, as a masculine American tough guy in the vein of Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin. We talked about how Paul was going to be my Lee Marvin and we were hungry to make those kind of films that could show Paul in that light.”
