Final Trailer For Morbius ‘Embraces The Bad Guy’

It’s been a long time coming Sony Pictures will finally release Marvel‘s ‘New Legend’ Morbius in a few weeks. Tonight they released the film’s final UK Trailer as Jared Leto embraces the bad guy!

When a film goes nearly two years delayed, you have a battle on your cards especially when your last Marvel Studios release was Spider-Man: No Way Home.

The film follows Nobel Prize-winning scientist Michael Morbius who is born with a rare blood condition. Dedicating his life to curing that disease only to find himself turning into the ‘living vampire’. But is he hero or foe? The trailer really plays on the ‘anti-hero’ if anything with Michael Keaton playing Adrian Toombes (aka Vulture from Spider-Man: Homecoming) the ‘true’ villain.

The pandemic certainly flatlined many films , has too many delays damaged the interest in this one? Possibly

One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar® winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr. Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. While at first it seems to be a radical success, a darkness inside him is unleashed. Will good override evil – or will Morbius succumb to his mysterious new urges?

The film also stars Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, Charlie Shotwell and Tyrese Gibson.

Morbius will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 31st March (1st April in the U.S).
