First Look At the ‘Fallen’ TV Series Paris Has Fallen

The television series based on the ‘Has Fallen’ film franchise has taken a step closer to release with the first look at Paris Has Fallen.

The ‘Has Fallen’ series (Angel Has Fallen) starred Gerard Butler as Secret Service Agent Mike Banning. Now we find ourselves in the French Capital, Paris with Tewfik Jallab as Vincent Taleb a part which was originally set to be played by Mathieu Kassovitz.

The rest of the series features an international cast that includes Ritu Arya (The Umbrella Academy) as MI6 Operative Zara Taylor. Rounding out the talented cast roster is Sean Harris (Mission Impossible: Fallout), Ana Ularu (Emerald City), Camille Rutherford (Blue Is The Warmest Colour), Jérémie Covillault (Tell No One), Emmanuelle Bercot (My King), and Karl Collins (Attack The Block).

Here’s the Official Synopsis:
When a terrorist group led by the villainous Jacob Pearce attacks a high-profile event, with the French Minister of Defence as their target, protection officer Vincent Taleb finds himself working with street-smart MI6 operative Zara Taylor to save the day. But when events take a dark turn, Vincent and Zara soon realize that the plan extends beyond just one politician. When they suspect that one of their colleagues in the security services is feeding information to Jacob, Vincent and Zara find themselves needing to rely only on each other. Increasingly isolated and with Jacob always one step ahead, can this unlikely pair stop Paris from falling to a man hell-bent on vengeance?

Paris Has Fallen will consist of 8 episodes with no date announced for the series launch. Howard Overman, Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps will produce for Urban Myth Films. With Oded Ruskin (No Man’s Land, Drops Of God) is lead director on the series alongside Hans Herbots (The Serpent). Studiocanal will distribute the series internationally.
