First TV Spot For The Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey

How time flies! It’s nearly time to see ‘how it all began’ as Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey creeps slowly closer to it’s big release in December today we get the film’s first TV Spot.
The new spot may not reveal any new footage however reveal some new dialogue between Gandalf (Ian McKellan) and Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) who coerce Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) into that journey leaving the comfort of Bag end. However as you’ll quickly see Thorin is not convinced the fate of his people lie on the shoulders of our Hobbit kicking of the journey that will link Bilbo’s journey with his nephew’s Frodo made in Lord Of The Rings trilogy, essentially linking up both trilogies.
As well as a new tv spot we have 4 new banners from the film and Empire have also revealed The Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey official running time, which will be 2hours 40 minutes “It’s looking like it’s going to be about ten minutes shorter than ‘Fellowship’ was,” said Peter Jackson “So it’s going to be officially our shortest Middle-earth yet. I mean, ‘Fellowship’ was just under three hours and this is about 2 hours 40 minutes at the moment.”
It maybe shorter running however compared to running times of other films the Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey is still a very long film. Just less than 2 months to go until our return to Middle Earth 13th December in UK&Ireland. The film stars
The Hobbit:An Unexpected Journey stars Martin Freeman, Ian McKellen, James Nesbitt, Stephen Hunter, Mark Hadlow, Graham McTavish, Dean Ogorman, Peter Hambleton, Aidan Turner, Jed Brophy, John Callen, Adam Brown, Ken Stott, William Kircher, Andy Serkis, and Richard Armitage.
The Hobbit follows the journey of title character Bilbo Baggins, who is swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, which was long ago conquered by the dragon Smaug. Approached out of the blue by the wizard Gandalf the Grey, Bilbo finds himself ing a company of thirteen dwarves led by the legendary warrior, Thorin Oakensheild. Their journey will take them into the Wild; through treacherous lands swarming with Goblins and Orcs, deadly Wargs and Giant Spiders, Shapeshifters and Sorcerers.
Although their goal lies to the East and the wastelands of the Lonely Mountain first they must escape the goblin tunnels, where Bilbo meets the creature that will change his life forever … Gollum.
Here, alone with Gollum, on the shores of an underground lake, the unassuming Bilbo Baggins not only discovers depths of guile and courage that surprise even him, he also gains possession of Gollum’s precious ring that holds unexpected and useful qualities … A simple, gold ring that is tied to the fate of all Middle-earth in ways Bilbo cannot begin to know.
