Go Big Watch New Clips, TV Spot, Featurettes For Pacific Rim
When it comes to the weekend not alot happens in filmland online as we’re all at our cinemas watching the latest releases, however with the Apocalypse been cancelled in 11 days Pacific Rim has some visual treats to feast your eyes on.
A host of new Pacific Rim clips, TV Spot, Featurettes have emerged online the past couple of days giving us an expansive look at our Giant metallic defenders (Jaegers) protecting us against the ferocity of the invading Kaiju. First up we have a host of clips with ‘Elbow Drop’ which sees Charlie Hunnam and Gypsy Danger unleash a punch toward the attacking Ron Perlman talk about getting access to an Kaiju brain. Next clip we see Hunnam again this time having an argument with Idris Elba who reminds him not to touch him, final clip Hunnam finds his hands full again this time with Rinko Kikuchi proving she’s compatible for the Jaegers.
With the clips mostly showcasing the the Human side of the film, the latest TV Spot will get you back into the rhythm with plenty of action. We also have 2 great Featurettes, firstly Warner Bros have sent us ‘Under Attack’ which reveals some more new footage along with the cast and crew talking about the film. We do leave the best to last with an 12 minute B-Roll which gives a great insight into Pacific Rim as you’ll see the Jaegers come to life. Synopsis
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes—a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)—who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.
