Did you think they were the ‘one’? We’ve all had High school sweetheart that broke our hearts, in The Union Mark Wahlberg might have a reunion with his. When you watch the trailer she might not be showing up for love!

Today Netflix drop the official trailer for the spy comedy which stars Halle Berry as that ‘old sweetheart’. Starring also along side our leading two are Mike Colter, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jessica De Gouw, Alice Lee, Jackie Earle Haley and J.K. Simmons.

The Union is directed by Julian Farino (Giri/Haji, Entourage), and Mike is living a simple life. Decent job, living in hometown and that life is about to be shattered when Roxanne (Berry). Mike’s old high school girlfriend, who is looking for something more than a romantic reunion. She’s pushing Mike into the dangerous life of a spy, is he the right man?

A nice little move to think the film’s title is just about Mike and Roxanne’s reunion. It seems it’s the agency that Roxanne works for. The trailer teases the chemistry and and banter between our leading twosome. Will it make this film work or another generic miss?

Mike (Mark Wahlberg) is happy living a simple life as a construction worker in his native New Jersey – until his long-lost high school sweetheart, Roxanne (Halle Berry), shows up with more on her mind than romance. Knowing he’s the right man for the job, she recruits Mike on a dangerous intelligence mission in Europe that thrusts them back together into a world of spies and high-speed car chases, with sparks flying along the way.

Directed by Julian Farino (Giri/Haji, Entourage), THE UNION also stars Mike Colter, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Jessica De Gouw, Alice Lee, Jackie Earle Haley, and J.K. Simmons.

The Union will launch globally on Netflix from 16th August.
