Hugh Jackman Teases Wolverine’s Potential Appearance In Avengers: Doomsday

In a recent interview on The View (via Deadline), Hugh Jackman teased the possibility of Wolverine returning alongside his X-Men colleagues in the Avengers: Doomsday. Hugh Jackman debuted as Wolverine in 2000’s X-Men and last appeared in the role in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine.
Jackman jokingly talked about the lack of news he has had regarding his potential involvement in the project. “I really can’t say much, except when you say ‘appear,’ more like dominate and destroy every other character—I’m kidding. I really have nothing to add, and if I did, I would find a really cool way to not say it, but I actually have nothing to add.”
Halle Berry, who previously played Storm in the X-Men franchise, shut down any rumours of her returning to the role for Doomsday. Meanwhile, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, Kelsey Grammer and James Marsden are all set to return to their X-Men roles for Avengers: Doomsday.
The cast for Avengers: Doomsday also includes the likes of Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd, Florence Pugh, Tenoch Huerta, Simu Liu, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston and Channing Tatum.
Avengers: Doomsday will release on 18th December, 2026.
