In Dragged Across Concrete UK Trailer Mel And Vince Are No Longer ‘Good Cops’

Dragged Across The Concrete

S.Craig Zahler has made a name for himself in genre cinema Bone Tomahawk and Brawl In Cell Block 99. Next month he will return with another slice of genre cinema with old school crime thriller with Dragged Across Concrete.

Starring Mel Gibson and star of his previous film Vince Vaughn our good cops coming bad cops. After finding themselves suspended after the heavy handiness of their stakeout which was filmed found online. With very little money the pair dive into the criminal underworld to to get what they want.

We caught the film at last month’s Glasgow Film Festival and if you enjoy those old B cop thrillers, you’ll dig this one. The film falls into the Neo-noir genre tropes and if you enjoyed Gibson in his Lethal Weapon days wisecracking, you may love this one. Him and Vaughn also work nicely off each other too.

The one debating side of the film is the film’s running time of 2 hours 15 minutes, which may put off some people. It’s a slow burner that leaves you plenty to ponder on and not always morally just. But human nature is nihilistic at times making this film a solid watch.
