‘It’s War!’ In the First UK Trailer For Joe vs Carole

Two years after the Tiger King series on Netflix, the battle continues, in JOE vs CAROLE. SKY have released the first UK (teaser) Trailer for their comedic limited series based on the internet sensations Carole Baskin and Joe “Exotic” Schreibvogel.

Before Squid Game there was the Tiger King, which was big viewing when the Pandemic kicked off. Behind the scenes the rivalry was very fierce, that opened the pandora’s box. Crazy real life characters and a unbelievable true story that will unfold in this 8 part series.

John Cameron Mitchell play our Tiger Queen and King. The story is based on the 2020 Wondery podcast Joe Exotic: Tiger King hosted and reported by Robert Moor. This trailer is only a short teaser, but gives us enough fuel to know what we saw was only the beginning .

Based on the Wondery podcast “Joe Exotic,” hosted and reported by Robert Moor, the limited series will center on Carole Baskin, a big cat enthusiast, who learns that fellow exotic animal lover Joe “Exotic” Schreibvogel is breeding and using his big cats for profit. She sets out to shut down his venture, inciting a quickly escalating rivalry. But Carole has a checkered past of her own and when the claws come out, Joe will stop at nothing to expose what he sees as her hypocrisy. The results prove dangerous.

The series also stars Kyle MacLachlan as Howard Baskin, Brian Van Holt as John Reinke, Sam Keeley as John Finlay, Nat Wolff as Travis Maldonado, Marlo Kelly as Jamie Murdock, William Fichtner as Rick Kirkham, Dean Winters as Jeff Lowe and David Wenham as Don Lewis.

All eight episodes of JOE vs CAROLE will be available to stream on Peacock from 4th March, exclusively on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland.
