“There was never just one” First it was Jason Bourne now it’s Aaron Cross and tonight we have the full trailer for THE BOURNE LEGACY and boy it is a cracker! The new trailer reveals alot more of who Aaron Cross is, a man with some genetic tinkering with our action man causing havoc across the world as treadstone try to take the loose cannon out. The new trailer also gives us our first look at our other new faces such as Edward Norton, Rachel Weisz, Oscar Isaac, Stacy Keach but also we see some old faces Albert Finney,Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn making an appearance too. What we really love about this trailer is it reveals the connections with the new film with the Matt Damon films who appears in this one, but why? Also runs parallel with the Bourne Ultimatum giving you a clue on Legacy’s timeline.

When the new Bourne film was announced doubts were made on who could fill Matt Damon’s shoes, so when Jeremy Renner was announced as Aaron Cross it raised a few eyebrow but after you check this trailer out all doubts will disappear. The boy is doing good and The Bourne Legacy looks to be keeping the momentum going, great action, great cinematography and a serious solid action packed film to look forward too this Summer.

August 17th The Bourne Legacy will arrive in UK&Ireland (August 3rd USA).(UK trailer here)

The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films. For The Bourne Legacy, Renner s fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.
