Jordan Peele’s Mysterious ‘US’ Releases A Teaser Poster

US (2019)

After the success of Rorschach style poster. He didn’t reveal very much apart from it was going to be his ‘New Nightmare’.

Slowly we have been dripped fed little teases, including Black Panther, stars Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke will lead the cast with Elisabeth Moss. Most of all we now have a title…‘US’

Now have another Teaser Poster which we see a one-gloved person (possibly Nyong’o?) holding a pair of scissors. The head of the scissors are a particular style do they symbolise something? Is the film a Home Invasion’ film with a big twist?

/Film last week exclusively released details of a possible plot for the film…

A mother (Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o from Black Panther, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and 12 Years a Slave) and a father (Winston Duke from Black Panther) take their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends (including Emmy winner Elizabeth Moss from TV series The Handmaid’s Tale). But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.

Just like many things, there’s no official word that the above synopsis will be confirmed. If it is the correct one, the details are still very vague. Keeping in line with the details for the film so far and we can say fewer details the better!

If the rumours are true we won’t have long to wait for the first trailer. That day looks like will be 25th December, Christmas Day!

The film will also star Tim Heidecker, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Anna Diop, Evan Alex, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Madison Curry, Cali Sheldon, Noelle Sheldon.

Jordan Peele has written the script as well as directing with Jason Blum aka Blumhouse Productions producing.

‘US’ will be released in the UK and Ireland on the 15th March 2019.
