No one likes to see a innocent person behind bars, In Most Wanted Trailer as Josh Hartnett unravels a twisted drug deal. Behind the deal there’s a wrong man in jail.

This film is based on a true story which Hartnett plays journalist Victor Malarek. Who fights to expose the twisted truth behind a heroin bust orchestrated by dirty cops to frame an innocent man – sentencing him to life in a Thai prison.

We see Malarek been warned about what he’s prints. A stubborn but determined journalist that takes no for answer and like any journalist ignores warnings. He wants to free Daniel (Antoine-Olivier Pilon) jailed for an 100 years now in a Thai prison forced against his will into the deal. If anyone knows Thai criminal system, drug offences have extreme prison sentences. The prisons are know for torturing and abusing the inmates.

Looks a decent film that pays homage to fearless journalism.

Inspired by the gripping true story, an investigative journalist (Josh Hartnett) unravels a twisted case of entrapment wherein a guy from the wrong side of the tracks, Daniel (Antoine-Olivier Pilon), is forced into a dangerous drug deal against his will and is sentenced to 100 years in a Thai prison. As Daniel endures torture and abuse, the journalist tracks down the shady undercover cops benefiting off the conspiracy, while also fighting for Daniel’s freedom. Most Wanted

The film also stars Jim Gaffigan, J.C. MacKenzie, Rose-Marie Perreault, and Don McKellar. Daniel Roby directs this one.

Most Wanted will be released in the USA on a limited cinema run and VOD from 24th July. No word on potential UK distributor or release date.
