Man and woman stair at each other in The Gorge

Love works in mysterious ways like in Scott Derrickson’s The Gorge. Apple TV+ have dropped the First Trailer love blossoms between Anya Taylor-Joy and Miles Teller. What mysterious evil lurks behind those doors?

Nothing better than Valentines day horror and this horror thriller looks like gives another meaning to forbidden love! We loved Black Phone and cannot wait to see the sequel, this one is twisting our curiosities. Pushing our minds into overdrive to try figure out what are they guarding especially if it’s a ‘world ending’ threat? Did we get a little glimpse, the clawed foot? We know we’re in good hand as Taylor-Joy has a mean shot with a gun!

What’s The Gorge all about? Taylor-Joy and Teller are two highly trained operatives appointed to guard an highly classified gorge. Protecting humanity from the evil the lurks behind the gates, there is a catch. Both are not allowed to communicate and quickly we see the pair learn a way around that rule!

Our one concern is 12 rating, how far will Apple TV+ let the film push the boundaries of survival?

Two highly-trained operatives (Miles Teller and Anya Taylor-Joy) are appointed to posts in guard towers on opposite sides of a vast and highly classified gorge, protecting the world from an undisclosed, mysterious evil that lurks within. They bond from a distance while trying to stay vigilant in defending against an unseen enemy. When the cataclysmic threat to humanity is revealed to them, they must work together in a test of both their physical and mental strength to keep the secret in the gorge before it’s too late.

The Gorge will be released globally on Apple TV+ from 14th February 2025. It also stars Sigourney Weaver, William Houston , Samantha Coughlan , Alessandro Garcia , Greta Hansen , Adam Scott-Rowley, and Julianna Kurokawa.
