Those pay day loan companies just bring more strife and stress, people need heroes like Dave Fishwick. Rory Kinnear once again returns as Dave, the ‘true-ish’ story of the man who founded the UK’s first community bank. Community banks might not be the perfect answer, they are a Godsend to those people who would have no choice to go to those loan predators. Letting them get and payback legally and minus of many of those traps big high street banks hide.

In Bank Of Dave 2 , we find ourselves two years after founding his own bank, local hero Dave Fishwick takes on the predatory payday lenders bringing misery to his small English town.

Based on a true-ish story – two years after founding Britain’s very first community bank, Dave Fishwick takes on an even more dangerous and formidable opponent than the big banks – Payday Loan Companies. Dave recruits Jessica, an American investigative reporter, and Oliver, a local Citizen’s Advice counsellor, to his cause. Together they embark on a journey that will eventually take them to the United States and help bring down an entire industry of predatory corporations.

This also stars Chrissy Metz, Rob Delaney, Jo Hartley, Amit Shah, Def Leppard, Pearce Quigley, Leila Farzad, and Dan Fogler. Bank Of Dave 2: The Loan Ranger will be Netflix from 10th January 2025.
