New Bumblebee Trailer Goes Old School Transformers (Robots In Disguise)

Let’s be honest, for many cinephiles, Michael Bay and the Transformers films were like a sugar-coated candy. You loved it at first (first film), but a film by film things started to decay the pain followed. In reality, you would go to the dentist and remove, Paramount Pictures is about to release Bumblebee. A film that may just cure the pain and deliver the Transformers film hardcore fans want.
Today we finally get another( second) UK Trailer that goes all out old school. Our lovable hero has some friends popping in like Optimus Prime, some foes too. Whatever you think of Michael Bay’s version of Transformers this one goes old school as Robots In Disguise!
If you’re looking for the CGI explosive and cohesive loud action from the other films, it looks like there will be some of that in this. However, this trailer reveals a little more of the plot and this one will have more heart. Probably thanks to Travis Knight (Kubo And The Two Strings) directing and giving the franchise hope…

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
Bumblebee still hasn’t got a confirmed release date for the UK and Ireland. In the USA it’s 21st December, which is the same day as Mary Poppins Returns, will Paramount go head to head with Disney?.
The film also stars John Cena, Pamela Adlon, Kenneth Choi, Megan Pryce Jorge Lendeborg Jr., John Ortiz, Jason Drucker, Stephen Schneider, and Martin Short. Angela Bassett and Justin Theroux are also onboard as the voices of the Decepticons chasing our titular Autobot.
