Universal Pictures have released a second UK Trailer for Dear Evan Hansen, that teases the story of the outsider in us all.
Ben Platt plays our titular character of our cinematic version of the famed musical in which Platt also plays Evan. Who is a deeply troubled teenager looking for understanding in the social media age. Anxious and isolated at high school and life all thanks to the suicide of one of his friends.
If you’ve seen the Broadway musical you’ll know this trailer pushes those moments and songs made the musical much loved. The subject of Suicide is no laughing matter and anyway to explore the message is worth it be it a musical. The question is, does it adapt nicely to the big screen, early reviews suggest critics will be divided once again.
