Paddington In Peru Gets A UK Release Date!

Our favourite bear will be back on our cinema screens in 2024. Studiocanal  have announced Paddington 3 or it’s official title Paddington In Peru will be released in UK and Irish cinemas in November 2024 with the U.S release coming 2025.

The new film will be released seven years after the critically acclaimed Paddington 2 (2017) and ten years after the original film (2014). it has completed filming on location in London, Peru and Colombia.

The highly anticipated third Paddington film brings Paddington’s story to Peru as he returns to visit his beloved Aunt Lucy, who now resides at the Home for Retired Bears. With the Brown Family in tow, a thrilling adventure ensues when a mystery plunges them into an unexpected journey through the Amazon rainforest and to the mountain peaks of Peru.

The new film will be directed by  Dougal Wilson who makes his directorial feature debut. Wilson has made a name for himself making music videos, TV Adverts and numerous shorts. Paul King the previous films director has stepped back, only onboard as the scriptwriter and producer.

Paddington 3 stars Hugh Bonneville, Emily Mortimer, Antonio Banderas, Olivia Colman, Julie Walters, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin and Jim Broadbent with both Ben Whishaw and Imelda Staunton returning as the respective voices of Paddington and Aunt Lucy.

ing the cast is newcomer Carla Tous in the role of Gina Cabot. Previously announced Rachel Zegler was unable to carry out the role  due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Studiocanal will release Paddington In Peru in the UK and Ireland from 8th November 2024. In the U.S and Canada you’ll have to wait a little longer when  Sony Pictures Releasing release the film on 17th January 2025.
