Patrick Wilson’s FAMILY JEWELS aka Barry Munday Coming To UK On DVD

With Insidious coming out April 29th starring Patrick Wilson just before then another one of his movies, a movie from 2010 will finally hit UK & Ireland on April 25th.

FAMILY JEWELS (aka Barry Munday) is Chris D’Arienzo’s directorial debut which was a bit hit at 2010 SXSW Festival  a movie which is believe it or not a Romcom but not your typical straight forward generic stuff that gets dished out dime a dozen, but with characters that are realistic, not living in luxury lofthouses,in dead end jobs but real people with real flaws but like able characters all the same. Wilson plays Barry Munday, a man who works 9-5, goes out gets drunk, womanizer, has a different woman every night but one night his daily antics get him caught by one of the girls fathers attacking Barry’s ‘family Jewels’. Things just get worse for Barry those family jewels have now gone and paternity lawsuit waiting for him ouch!

Chloe Sevigny (Mr Nice, Zodiac), Malcom MacDowell, Cybil Shepherd, Billy Dee Williams and Jean Smart.

Barry Munday wakes up, after being attacked, to realise that he’s missing his family jewels. To make matters worse, he learns he’s facing a paternity lawsuit filed by a woman he can’t having sex with.
