Ron’s Gone Wrong New Trailer Is A Electronic Coming Of Age Story

20th Century Studios have released the second UK Trailer for animated adventure Ron’s Gone Wrong. Starring the voices of Jack Dylan Grazer as our nerdy young loner and Zach Galifiankis as our robot Ron.

In this one we follow socially awkward boy Barney (Jack Dylan Grazer) who just happens to be the last kid in the town to get his hands on a B*Bot. When he does get robot called Ron (Zach Galifiankis), he is unfortunately malfunctioning. He wants to be his best friend and the pair embark a journey to true friendship.

The new trailer really plays on the coming of age story or should we call it, ‘electronic coming of age’ story. Of we go by recent animated features this one feels like it fits nicely into the likes of The Mitchells vs The Machines, even Wreck-It-Ralph. This looks fun, silly and if it’s like the aforementioned films this will be worth a look.

20th Century Studios and Locksmith Animation’s “Ron’s Gone Wrong” is the story of Barney, a socially awkward middle-schooler and Ron, his new walking, talking, digitally-connected device, which is supposed to be his “Best Friend out of the Box.” Ron’s hilarious malfunctions, set against the backdrop of the social media age, launch them into an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to with the wonderful messiness of true friendship.

The film also stars Olivia Colman, Ed Helms, Justice Smith, Rob Delaney, Ricardo Hurtado, Marcus Scribner, Kylie Cantrall, and Thomas Barbusca.

Ron’s Gone Wrong will make it’s premiere at BFI London Film Festival (9th October) before going on general release in the UK and Ireland on 15th October. The USA release will be 22nd October.
