Marvel Avengers Assemble is the eagerly anticipated first Avengers film, bringing together some of Marvel’s most loved superhero characters in the biggest superhero movie in history. Directed by Joss Whedon, the film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Tom Hiddleston, with Stellan Skarsgård and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, from a story by Zak Penn and Joss Whedon with screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel Avengers Assemble” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since.
Marvel Avengers Assemble is presented by Marvel Studios in association with Paramount Pictures. The film is being produced by Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige and executive produced by Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Jon Favreau, Louis D’Esposito, Patricia Whitcher, Victoria Alonso and Jeremy Latcham.
With success on the cards for Avengers will everyones favourite green monster finally get another crack at his own film? The Hulk is one of the more ‘animated’ characters of the Marvel Universe who hasn’t truly had a decent film so with The Hulkster’s inclusion providing us with some of the more entertaining parts of Avengers (though all entertaining) the question is will he get an adaptation thats worthy like Spiderman, Batman or will another film be ‘extended advert’ for Avengers Assemble 2?
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said The Hulk will get a reboot but all film fans know this is the Hulksters third bite at the cherry, so is Avengers Assemble that ‘reboot’? Marvel’s President of Consumer Products Paul Gitter may think differently as he states in a article in Forbes the characters “sales are up in a major way. We repositioned him from where he was always misunderstood to now depicting him in a more heroic and aspirational manner.” Gitter wants to spin off the Hulk sometime next year so would that mean possible film coming 2015 especially as the next two years films in the company’s schedule virtually full?
Roll on the release of Avengers (Assemble) in USA, watch the $$$ roll in and next projects spinning of the Avengers success.
