Soon First The Poster Will Come For The Snowman, Trailer Tomorrow
The Snowman will soon cometh but for today Universal Pictures tease us with the first poster for the movie based on Jo Nesbo’s popular book. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy /Let The Right One In director Tomas Alfredson is directing the first big screen adaptation of the Harry Hole novels with Michael Fassbender playing the lead role. With so many Nordic noirs books already become TV shows and feature films, you wonder why Jo Nesbo‘s best selling books having been adapted especially how popular they are. Finally this Autumn the wait is finally over and the poster does look like it’s going for a gritty direction, anything that takes the same approach as David Fincher’s Se7en has my !
When an elite crime squad’s lead detective (Fassbender) investigates the disappearance of a victim on the first snow of winter, he fears an elusive serial killer may be active again. With the help of a brilliant recruit (Ferguson), the cop must connect decades-old cold cases to the brutal new one if he hopes to outwit this unthinkable evil before the next snowfall.
If the gossip is true we won’t be waiting long for our first look at the movie’s footage. It seems tomorrow 19th July the first trailer will be released, stay tuned!
The Snowman is set for a 13th October with Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Val Kilmer, Toby Jones, J.K. Simmons, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Chloë Sevigny and Sofia Helin making up the cast.
