The feature directorial debut of Jillian Bell – star of Brittany Runs a Marathon, Kinda Pregnant, and Godmothered – Summer of 69 stars Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman (Megalopolis) Santa Monica, who becomes a sexual fairy godmother to a socially awkward teenage girl named Abby (Sam Morelos). With her guidance, she will help Abby win the heart of her long-time crush Max Warren.

Charlie Day (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Paula Pell (Girls5eva), Liza Koshy (A Family Affair), Nicole Byer (Nailed It!), Natalie Morales (The Morning Show), Alex Moffat (Saturday Night Live), Matt Cornett (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series), Fernando Carsa (Acapulco), and Amalia Yoo (Grand Army) co-star.

Synopsis:

“In the film, an awkward high school senior hires an exotic dancer to help seduce her longtime crush before graduation, leading to unexpected friendship and lessons in self-confidence, acceptance, and adulthood,” reads the film’s official synopsis.

Bell co-wrote the screenplay with Jules Byrne and Liz Nico.
