Who said animation is just for kids?! Wrong! This week’s Sunday Short Theatre choice Game Show dives into the chaotic world, delivery driver attempting to return a package to the rightful owner. What is in the box throws him into the chaos and find out quickly many want that box too.
What is in this package? Game Show is a 12 minute Chinese animation created by Fei Chen who was story artist on Kung Fu Panda 3 and 4.

The short film was part of Capsules anthology series which showcased animation from the country. A collection of 13 shorts, series created by Bilibili with the film part of the second season. That season explored science fiction, it;s technological awareness but also growth stories focusing on female self-expression and reconciliation,
We follow a delivery guy who has one task, return a mysterious package to it’s owner. What is inside? Something with the power to transport you to another dimension which sees many others determined to get their hands on the box.
How could you describe Game Show? Quirky is one one word, especially when it comes to the films main characters. Odd, whimsy are other words when the neighbourhood cats like a mix of Scott Pilgrim animation and video games. Very action packed, fun and very chaotic as well as full of energy plus Chen even throws in Kaiju! Game Show is not scared to slip into a darker tone reminding us, animation is for adults too.
