I think we can say Sylvester Stallone has been virtually everything in his career. One thing he hasn’t is a superhero and next month, he will be in Samaritan.

Ahead of it’s premiere on Prime Video, Amazon have released the official Trailer that sees Sly ‘unmasked’.

He’s no stranger to the action genre, whilst he’s at the latter part of his career. Many veteran actors have shown you’re never too old. Those ‘retired’ heroes are as awesome as new starts finding themselves.

Stallone is Joe Smith, a bin man who also loves unearthing precious treasures from the rubbish.  He lives an honest, simple life that is interrupted one day to aide a young neighbour. The town both live in the crime rate is on the rise, the young boy thinks Mr Smith has a secret. He believes his ageing neighbour is his who went into hiding 25 years ago. If he’s true can he coax him out and help rescue their home town.

This film got lost in the scheduling troubles of Covid. Like many films found a new home, I don’t know why it’s not in cinemas. It looks pretty good!
