The First Clifford The Big Red Dog Trailer Teases ‘BIG’ Adventure

Entertainment One have released the first UK Trailer for family adventure, Clifford The Big Red Dog.

The film is based on the popular children’s books from Norman Bridwell. The film marks the lovable characters first step into live action as he’s already stepped into animated TV series. Back in November 2020 we got teased by a clip/promo which had no footage, just a creepy pup enlarged and coloured red. It had a negative response however now we have footage and things look a lot more positive and a ‘BIG’ Adventure!

Clifford is no product of some crazy science experiment, he’s just a dog that grows, grows and grows. All thanks to the young girl who owns him Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp), her love for him. She is being bullied at school and wishes her dog to grows and her dream comes true the following day!

This is certainly a better representation of Clifford and if the kids love it the parents will too!

When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth (Darby Camp) meets a magical animal rescuer (John Cleese) who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment. While her single mum (Sienna Guillory) is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey (Jack Whitehall) set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!

The film also stars Jack Whitehall, Sienna Guillory, John Cleese, Rosie Perez, Kenan Thompson, Horatio Sanz, David Alan Grier, and Russell Wong.

Entertainment One hasn’t announced a UK or Irish cinema release date yet for Clifford The Big Red Dog. The film is being released in the U.S in September, so don’t be surprised if they have a similar release date.
