The Future of Cinema - Every Major Release Coming in 2021 and Beyond...

The fate of cinema hangs in the balance. Many filmmakers like Wes Anderson, Christopher Nolan and Taika Waititi have openly spoken out about their worries for the future of film in relation to the cinema experience and the streaming experience. We live in difficult times and film has suffered alongside us, but there looks to be light on the horizon. We can do nothing but remain in a constant state of impatient excitement for the hundreds of films releasing over the next few years – we could have a few masterpieces on our hands – and the Marvel and Disney line up looks like a fun time too. So I thought I’d compile a list of all the big releases happening through the next decade along with their release dates. That is one LONG, long, long list of films – and I (and I’m sure you too) couldn’t be happier about that. So many things to be excited for, fun action with Marvel, John Wick and Mission Impossible, meaningful animation with Disney and Pixar, great filmmakers returning to cinema: Wes Anderson, Noah Baumbach, Dennis Villeneuve, Paul Thomas Anderson, Martin Scorsese, Greta Gerwig, Rian Johnson, Damien Chazzelle, James Cameron, James Gunn, Chloe Zhao, Edgar Wright, Adam McKay, Dan Gilroy, George Miller, Sam Raimi, David Lowery, Matt Reeves, James Mangold and Christopher McQuarrie, are all gonna be making films over the next few years, they’re all answering our call for help. All I can say is… be ready.
