The Magic Is Conjured In The House with a Clock in Its Walls Second Trailer

Young Adult horror, Eli Roth may not be the natural choice for director. Entertainment One believes in him and today The House with a Clock in Its Walls has a spanking new second UK Trailer!
Owen Vaccaro is our young hero Lewis sent to live with his uncle (Jack Black), with neighbour Cate Blanchett. Soon Owen starts to unearth the secrets of his Uncle’s town, a secret world of Warlocks and Witches.
The first Trailer teased the possibilities, the new trailer Black and Blanchett reveal their powers. We get a taster of the humour we can expect and that Cate Blanchett hates pumpkins! Overall we get a sense of the chemistry between Black and Blanchett.
Its old school Amblin Entertainment and things do seem to work here even if the trailer reveals a tad too much. Roth may have made a name for himself in adult based horror, horror for teens should really be a doddle for him. Just hope he’s risen above the dreadful Death Wish remake his last disaster.
In the tradition of Amblin classics where fantastical events occur in the most unexpected places, Jack Black and two-time Academy Award® winner Cate Blanchett star in The House with a Clock in Its Walls. The magical adventure tells the spine-tingling tale of 10-year-old Lewis (Owen Vaccaro) who goes to live with his uncle in a creaky old house with a mysterious tick-tocking heart. But his new town’s sleepy façade jolts to life with a secret world of warlocks and witches when Lewis accidentally awakens the dead.
