The New Epic Trailer Is Simply….EPIC!

“My Dad always told me stories about a hidden world, where brave warriors watch over and protect us…” 

When we look at Animation Studios for the next big thing we always seem to look towards Disney/Pixar, Dreamworks however there is a newcomer in the background Blue Sky and there next film Epic has a new trailer and it’s simply epic! Blue Sky the studio that brought us Rio, Ice Age and with the help from 20th Century Fox Pictures they will be making sure they will not be forgotten and on the evidence of Epic trailer they potentially have a great film on their hands.

eco-conscious family adventure is loosely based on William Joyce children’s book The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs tells the tale of a young teenage girl is magically transported into a hidden world searching for her scientific father.When she arrives, she is  miniaturized into a world led by the leaf men who she helps to fight the goblins.

Epic does have a big Fern Gully feel to it with a healthy dose of Honey,I Shrunk The Kids even Avatar especially when you look at the visual beauty of this trailer. You do really get a better idea of the story as well as the humour with Aziz Ansari‘s character a slug looks like he’s Shrek Donkey character for Epic, I don’t think there’s any need for this type of character. Not been the biggest fan of 3D films Epic thanks to its visual beauty could be a film to watch 3D, will it be the Holy Grail and be the first film to convince me 3D is the future?

All will be  revealed on 24th May 2013.Epic boast a stellar voice cast which includes Amanda Seyfried, Josh Hutcherson, Christoph Waltz, Beyonce Knowles, Pitbull, Jason Sudeikis, Steven Tyler, Aziz Ansari, Blake Anderson, and Judah Friedlander.
