The Second King Richard Trailer Will Smith Is A ‘Caring Father’

The second official UK Trailer for Will Smith led sports drama King Richard has been released by Warner Bros Pictures. Based on the true life story of the man who inspired 2 of the world’s greatest tennis players, Venus and Serena Williams. This second Trailer teases one thing, the Williams sister daddy was a ‘caring father’

If you are looking for that inspirational film message, this film certainly looks like it might be the one. It’s a film that pushes the message, no matter how unconventional the way you get to the top if it succeeds that’s what matters.

King Richard tells the story of Richard and Brandi Williams (Aunjanue Ellis) the parents of the sisters (played by Saniyya Sidney and Demi Singleton). Richard’s vision was clear methods may have not been tradition, he taught, mentored the sisters who became some of the greatest tennis players. Most of all, mentoring his girls rise to the top.

The reviews for the film on its festival run have been great, with even talk of Smith in line for Oscar contention.
Our reviews editor, Scott J.Davis watched the film recently at the BFI London Film Festival, describing the film as “watching King Richard reminds you of the extraordinary and otherworldly power of family, togetherness, kindness“.

King Richard will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 19th November 2021.
