The Strangers 2: Prey At Night UK Trailer ‘Continues The Nightmare’

The Strangers 2 Prey At Night (2018)

Ten Years ago Tiffany’s ‘I Think We’re Alone Now‘ terrified Liv Tyler as she fought for life in The Strangers. It’s time for those masked home invaders to return in The Strangers 2: Prey At Night. As Christina Hendricks and Martin Henderson’s family holiday becomes their worst nightmare…

Vertigo Releasing has released the beast, the UK Trailer for the long-awaited Cult Horror. A film that sums up what ‘Holiday from Hell’ truly means!

Just when you believed your home was your fortress, now the film smartly moves from middle-class suburbia to holiday mobile homes. It teases the potential that our ‘strangers’ motivations may have changed. The trailer is short but sweet, most of all straight to the point and yes that Tiffany song returns too. It’s a near perfect juxtaposition when you put something as gruesome as Horror with a cheesy light-hearted pop song.

Originally The Strangers was critically ripped apart, however, it still made nearly $100million worldwide at the box office. Not bad on a $9 million budget, so it will be curious to see how well this one will do. The original slowly built itself into a cult film, positively The Strangers 2 (out today in the USA) is pulling in some positive reviews!

When Cindy (Christina Hendricks) and her husband, Mike (Martin Henderson), take their rebellious teenage daughter Kinsey (Bailee Madison) and son Luke (Lewis Pullman) on a road trip, what began as an ordinary, gripe-filled family excursion soon becomes their worst nightmare come to life. Upon arrival at a secluded mobile home park, a knock on their trailer door leads to an inescapable night of terror as three masked strangers, with inexplicable deadly intentions, force this fractured family to come together and fight for their lives.

The Strangers 2: Prey At Night will arrive in the UK and Irish Cinemas from 4th May.
