‘A Whole New World‘ sounds like a line from a recently remade Disney Classic, but it’s not. Next Spring (2020) The next The Walking Dead Spin-off will be with us. Today AMC tease us with the first Trailer Teaser

To be honest we don’t know much about this new show. What the promo promises it will explore the The Walking Dead universe. “In other places we haven’t seen. With people we haven’t seen. With the dead we haven’t seen.

We don’t know exactly on the universe timeline the series will take place. No suggestion that it will follow the format of the original show or Fear Of The Walking Dead. Before the spin-off was announced earlier this year, there was gossip this show would be international. Most of all, the show doesn’t even have an title yet.

What information on this show was revealed at last week’s San Diego Comic Con. Kong: Skull Island director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will be directing the pilot episode. Matt Negrete who writes for the main show will write, direct and will be the showrunner for this one with Scott Gimple overseeing everything.

As you’ll see from the teaser we do meet the principal cast all teens/young adults. This series will be an coming of age story following the first generation of children from the outbreak. Gimple revealed at Comic Con

These kids can grow up in a place of comfort and security, but they leave everything on a dangerous quest, and are being pursued by adults on their own. ‘We’ll see kids become heroes and some become villains. We’re going to open up a whole new world of The Walking Dead.’

The Walking Dead Spin-Off new series will be 10 episodes with ‘Spring 2020’ release. Alexa Mansour, Nicolas Cantu, Hal Cumpston, Aliyah Royale and Annet Mahendru will lead the cast.

The Walking Dead Season 10 is set to premiere on Fox UK from 7th October. Check out the Trailer below…
