Just when the iconic detective Hercule Poirot was expecting to call it time, the chaos returns. This September, things will get paranormal in Haunting In Venice, 20th Century Studios have released second UK Trailer.
I think we can say, if things of the paranormal nature we cannot truly say if it’s true or not. Looking at this latest promo Poirot is looking for that rational answer to what’s going on. Without mentioning actor names, there is a couple of con artists at play in the opening seconds. Our celebrated detective is looking at things from a human perspective, who is the killer?
This one is based on Agatha Christie’s novel Hallowe’en Party. Poirot is retired and living in exile in post world war II Venice. Reluctantly he attends a Séance at one of the city’s renowned venues which one of the guests is murdered.
This maybe a solid trailer, after in Death On The Nile this new film will have to be a vast improvement. Even Spook-tastic!

A Haunting in Venice is set in eerie, post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve and is a terrifying mystery featuring the return of the celebrated sleuth, Hercule Poirot. Now retired and living in self-imposed exile in the world’s most glamorous city, Poirot reluctantly attends a séance at a decaying, haunted palazzo. When one of the guests is murdered, the detective is thrust into a sinister world of shadows and secrets.
The cast includes Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Riccardo Scamarcio, Kelly Reilly, Emma Laird, and Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh.
Haunting In Venice will arrive in UK, Irish and Irish cinemas from 15th September.
