Thor: Love And Thunder Finally Gets A First Trailer!

Things are finally getting ‘cosmic’ this Easter Monday as Marvel Studios release the first official (Teaser) Trailer for Thor: Love And Thunder!

His hands where once used in battle now they’re used in peace, finally that long long wait for first footage has finally arrived. After months of teasing that first promo Marvel send us all that last minute Easter surprise. It’s been nearly 5 years since Taika Waititi took the director reigns with Thor: Ragnarok, bringing fun and adventure back to the franchise. So it’s no surprise he’s directing for this latest one.

Chris Hemsworth returns as our titular character with Natalie Portman return to the franchise since Thor: Dark World. This one seems to pick off not long after Avengers: Endgame , Thor has retired it seems the Mighty Thor is now Jane (Portman). Thor may now be a completely different person but that’s about to change all thanks to a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale).

With Waititi embedding more humour has change the god of thunder for the best cinematically. If you enjoyed the last one this looks equally as good maybe even better!

Thor: Love and Thunder,” offering long-awaited clues to what’s in store for the God of Thunder. The film finds Thor (Chris Hemsworth) on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced – a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher (Christian Bale), who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), Korg (Taika Waititi) and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), who – to Thor’s surprise – inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. Directed by Waititi (“Thor: Ragnarok,” “Jojo Rabbit”) and produced by Kevin Feige and Brad Winderbaum.

The film also stars Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Karen Gillian, Chris Pratt, Sean Gunn, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff, and Jeff Goldblum.

Thor: Love And Thunder will arrive in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 8th July.
