It may not have the pulling power of Harry Potter (books&) films, even Hunger Games, you could say Twilight Series but Jeff Kinney’s Best selling Diary Of A Wimpy Kids books could easily match the mentioned book come films in the book department in popularity but the film side of things is another matter. This summer the third book of the series DIARY OF A WIMPY KID: DOG DAYS will make its big screen debut and guess what we have the film’s theatrical trailer!
The third film sees our hero Greg Heffley devise a plan for his summer holiday pretending he has a job at the ritzy country club which fails to keep him away from potentially embarrassing moments. But if you know Jeff Kinney’s books nothing goes to plans, so expect the usual pre-teen toilet humour with a certain pool scene which will have the kids in stitches. This one certainly a film for fans of the book and those just a little too young to read The Hunger Games, childish fun.
August 3rd is the release date for UK,Ireland and USA but in filmland cinephiles will know things do change. Dairy of A Wimpy Kid Dog Days stars Zachary Gordon, Robert Capron, Rachael Harris, Devon Bostick and Steve Zahn.
