UK Trailer For Horror Comedy Get Away Starring Nick Frost
Nick Frost is heading back to his horror comedy roots with Get Away in January. Sky Cinema unearth the UK Trailer and the family holiday becomes a holiday from hell…literally!
The Shaun of The Dead star not only stars in this, he has written and produced the film with Steffen Haars (New Kids Turbo). The film also stars Aisling Bea, Sebastian Croft, Maisie Ayres, and Eero Milonoff.
Get Away follows a family’s holiday to a remote part of Sweden. It’s a small island, however things take a drastic turn when they learn their ‘neighbour’ is a serial killer!
My main job is working for a holiday company, and have heard about many nightmare holidays over the years. Some are on the peoples high expectations, other genuine horror, making it a ‘horror’ trope we’re intrigued. From the Frost’s previous films we know this will be a fun film, from the early reviews expect the unexpected! Big twists? This set in Sweden, a Midsommar twist?!
Set in Sweden, Get Away follows a family’s holiday to a remote getaway – but the trip takes an unexpected turn when they discover the island they’re on is inhabited by a serial killer. Frost stars alongside Aisling Bea (“This Way Up”), Sebastian Croft (“Heartstopper”), and newcomer Maisie Ayres (“Criminal Record”). Nick Spicer, Aram Tertzakian, and Maxime Cottray of XYZ Films produced alongside John Hegeman of Wayward Entertainment, Lee Kim of Resolute Films and Frost. The co-producer is Richard Kondal for Big Safari, with executive producers Vince Totino of Wayward Entertainment, Patrick Fischer of Creativity Capital, Nate Bolotin and Pip Ngo of XYZ Films, alongside Julia Stuart and Laura Grange of Sky Original Film.
Get Away will be on Sky Cinema from 10th January 2025.
