Watch UK Trailer For Indie Thriller For Deadland

Lightbulb Film Distribution have released the UK Trailer for indie U.S thriller for Deadland.

The film premiered at last year’s SXSW Festival and marked the directorial feature debut for Lance Larson who has made several short films until now.

Deadland has been described by the distributor as a ‘supernatural thriller’, certainly steps into psychological. Robert Urbina (Snowpiercer, Narcos) as U.S Border agent Angel Waters, who intercepts a typical illegal border crossing. Everything turns into an nightmare for Angel when he finds an immigrant barely alive who utters something to him before he dies. With help from his fellow agents they bury that immigrant in an unmarked grave in the desert. Days later on another look out at the crossing he finds the same immigrant who once again utters the same words, a world divided.

Border crossings on land and by sea are sadly coming a common occurrence. The supernatural twist in this film might make this one worth a look?

When a detained immigrant is killed, US border agents dispose of the man’s body in an unmarked grave. But like their dark secret, the victim refuses to remain buried.

The film also stars McCaul Lombardi, Julieth Restrepo, Kendal Rae, Luis Chavez, Julio Cesar Cedillo, Manuel Uriza, Chris Mulkey, Chris White, and Dave Maldonado.

Deadland will be released across digital platforms in the UK and Ireland from 24th June.
