Watch (UK)Red Band Trailer for Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

If this year’s take on the fairytale retakes of the Snow White story frustrated you Hansel &Gretel: Witch Hunters will either make you screaming why or take you on a ride of pure ridiculous fun ride. If you thought last month’s green band trailer was over the top well feast your eyes below as the red band trailer has so much cheese going  for it you’ll be even bringing your own bread. We are all fans of Tommy Wirkola‘s Dead Snow at The People’s Movies but we’re seen a worrying trend among the great non Hollywood , no English speaking film makers making their Hollywood débuts who seem to have a rough debut in tinsel town many reverting back home. So Hansel & Gretel:Witch Hunters could be a big flop and with a big reliance on CGI things don’t look good especially when the film is already been delayed for various other reasons.Whilst the previous trailer had Gemma Arterton as a sexy brother-sister duo , this new trailer seems to have her in the ‘damsel in distress’ role now, which is a little annoying.

However despite those little annoying tidbits this still looks a fun film and we’ve seen before trailers don’t tell the full story so we still have optimistic this one will work at least on the entertainment level. Hansel & Gretel:Witch hunters  stars Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton, Famke Janssen, Peter Stormare , Zoe Bell and will arrive in UK&Ireland March 15th, 2013 (25th January 2013 USA).

15 years after their traumatic gingerbread-house incident, siblings Hansel and Gretel have become a formidable team of bounty hunters who track and kill witches all over the world.
